DC's Fire Dames, Miss Joule and Malibu, bring you a night of extreme mood swings with the debut of their new show Tilted Torch!! They warn you to watch out for wild swings and ups and downs that you may experience as a result of tonight's theme, the Bipolar Show. If that doesn't get you the performers' drastic changes certainly will. Tonight you will enjoy the burlesque stylings of the salty but sweet L'il Dutch and the naughty but nice Candy Del Rio, the amazingly strong and flexible hand-balancing duo Lizzie Lyra and Brent Balancer, and bringing a little bit of heat to the stage is Surprise! with her cute and cunning swirling fire. And we can't forget the beautifully smooth yet stormy style of Miss Joule and the well behaved yet sinister fire dancing of the incredible Malibu. Our smooth-talking host and MC for the evening, First Mate Flip, will bring order to the excitement and sometimes uncontrolled behavior of the Bipolar Show. |

I have always loved the American Visionary Art Museum and decided it was high time to become a member to support this fantastic place! I also joined the volunteer corps in further support. My first official liaison with the museum will be at the fundrasier, Glow Ball and After Glow party. I'll be doing some absolutely glowing walk around performances. Definitely check it out! Last Saturday's show at the Palace was truly wonderful. For the first time in a while, I got to dabble in all of my talents by presenting three unique and different acts. I started with a heart warming fire number with my lovely fire umbrella, transitioned into a new burlesque number that made everyone happy, and finished it off with a energizing hooping number that got the crowd rockin! I got great feedback from friends and fans alike. This was a great way to step back onto the Palace stage after a hiatus for personal development and growth over the winter months. I'm ready for the wonderful opportunities that 2009 will bring! |
