Wow! What a FULL weekend. My body is finally recovering from the hotness that was the Virgin Festival.. Yes, the temperatures soared but those body-rockin hoopers were heating up the action too! With the lovely accompaniment of Strange Powers and GrooveHoops, the hoop corral was a-buzz all day long as we rocked to the sounds of Cheap Trick, Amy Winehouse, CSS, Regina Spektor, and Panic! at the Disco, to name just a few! And after all that day-time hooping in the sweltering sun, I switched hats to join Flights of Fire for a 30-minute fire show before the headliners on both nights: the Police on Saturday and Smashing Pumpkins on Sunday. Yes, it was a weekend chock full of good fun and good peeps. I hope all you newbie hoopers are finding hoops in your local area to keep up your skillz so we can have a BIGGER and BETTER Hoop Corral at Virgin Fest next year!
